Caryn Brown
Owner, Website Crafter and Social Media Strategist• Caryn Brown is a website designer and social media strategist for Digital Media Butterfly, the company she founded in 2012, because she has a passion for helping businesses and individuals find their way in our digital world. She is also an avid blogger and very involved in social media and enjoys speaking and teaching groups about Social Media and their web presence. • Caryn’s professional experience includes 12 years in the non-profit sector, where she managed technology and social media assets. Caryn has been designing websites since 1999 and has led the Waco Social Media Breakfast since 2008. • Caryn enjoys serving her community; she currently serves on local non-profit boards, including the Multimedia Advisory Board for McLennan Community College. In 2015, she completed the Leadership Plenty Institute course in Waco. • Caryn is also passionate about the abolition of human trafficking and particularly the work of Love146 and International Justice Mission. • Caryn is married to Michael, and they have two sons. • In her spare time, Caryn enjoys being active on social media, scrapbooking, spending time with her family, and great food.
